UniSA Vacancy – Head of School: Art, Architecture and Design

Head of School: Art, Architecture and Design

The University of South Australia is an enterprising and dynamic, outward-looking institution established in 1991, built on more than 150 years of teaching, learning and research excellence of our antecedent institutions.  We are South Australia’s largest university, and continue to enjoy a strong upward trajectory across a number of key indicators and global rankings – we are ranked amongst the top 3% of universities worldwide and in the top 50 international universities under 50 years of age.

The School of Art, Architecture and Design is the oldest and most well-established school of its kind in South Australia. Our staff possess a wealth of experience in teaching and industry practice, and, combined with our excellent teaching facilities, we offer our students an educational experience that is second to none.

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic leader to lead the strategic development and management of the School’s academic offerings, research profile, industry engagement, services to students, and enterprise culture.

The Head of School will also make original, innovative and distinguished contributions to scholarship, research and teaching in their discipline and will make a commensurate contribution to the work of the University.
