The Art Association of Australia and New Zealand advocacy policy sets out the guidelines for the Association in relation to issues that directly affect its members.
The Association aims to address matters in the public domain which are of concern to its members. In pursuit of this goal the Association seeks to foster productive working relationships between members, provide a forum for information exchange, and engage in coordinated action.

In August 2017 the AAANZ announced the formation of advocacy working groups and advocacy committee to be announced formally at the annual conference, held this year in Perth. More information about the advocacy working groups can be found here.
