Position overview
The position will contribute to the research activity of the School of Art & Design in art and/or design history and provide high quality and innovative teaching, particularly at the undergraduate level. The Centre fosters interdisciplinary, cross cultural and object-based research and works closely with cultural institutions. Its programs incorporate art history, design history, art theory and curatorship courses which are delivered to a diverse student body including visual arts, design, art and design history, curatorship and flexible double degree students.

The successful candidate will have a PhD in art or design history, a research specialisation evidenced through publications, teaching and supervisory experience at a tertiary level, and a demonstrable involvement in the art gallery and art museum sector.
