AAANZ President’s Report │December 2024

This has been a very special year for the Art Association of Australia and New Zealand as we celebrate our fiftieth anniversary. This significant milestone has provided the opportunity to reflect upon our beginnings and look to future achievements. After an auspicious beginning with funding of $7,000 from the Visual Arts Board, there were several points over the years when the Association’s fortunes floundered. AAANZ declaration of election for appointment to positions on the Executive Committee including President – Nominations close this Friday

At the AGM in December this year a number of positions on the Executive Committee will come up for renewal. The President Wendy Garden is stepping down so the position of President will become vacant and we will need to elect a new President this year.
