CONFERENCE PROGRAM

The Art Association of Australia New Zealand is happy to announce that it will award five bursaries to currently enrolled postgraduate students studying art history, art, or curatorship to deliver a paper at the Perth Annual Conference in December 2017. Each award will be a cash grant of $500 to be used towards travel expenses to attend the conference and give a paper. In order to be eligible for consideration applicants must be members of the Art Association of Australia New Zealand.

The application period is now closed.

Applicants are to provide:

1. A current curriculum vitae;
2. A copy of the abstract submitted in response to the call for papers;
3. A budget itemising anticipated income and expenses associated with
delivering a paper in Perth during the conference.
4. Proof of membership of the Art Association of Australia New Zealand
(details on how to join the Association are available on the website).

Please note: The bursaries are available only to postgraduate students with papers accepted to present at the conference on the 7th and 8th of December. For information about registration waivers for the postgraduate day on 6 December, please see the conference website. The applications are due by close of business on September 8 and the successful applicants will be notified by September 14. These dates reflect the current submission process for session convenors to accept proposals and are subject to change – please check the Art Association website for updated details.
