The Australian Academy of the Humanities is pleased to be a principal sponsor for this workshop.

The Academy is the national peak body for the humanities in Australia. It was established by Royal Charter in 1969 and is one of Australia’s four Learned Academies — independent organisations established to encourage excellence in their respective fields, and to provide expertise and advice across public, institutional, and government levels.

The Academy is comprised of an elected Fellowship, 600 leaders and experts spanning the humanities disciplines such as cultural and language studies, history, philosophy, classics, and the creative arts.

This event was proposed by Academy’s The Arts Section, and awarded principal sponsorship based on the workshop’s approach to encouraging a network to explore new areas of humanities enquiry.
