Arquetopia invites visual artists, designers, writers, and students aged 22 and over to apply for our special artist-in-residence scholarships. Our residencies offer a unique space where resistance, knowledge, and ethics intersect. We are dedicated to imagining a collective present, past, and future that prioritizes the well-being of all participants.
Residents are encouraged to challenge dominant forms of knowledge, including tourism, art history, and visual culture, and to enhance their studio practices through critical discussions. Our programs are process-oriented, autonomous, and focus on project-based learning, with a critical approach to studio practices and artistic research.
