Applications are invited for the position of Senior Lecturer | Associate Professor in Art History
Associate Professor in Art History is within the School of English, Film, Theatre and Media Studies, Victoria University of Wellington. This is a permanent full-time position available from 2020.
The successful applicant for the Senior Lecturer | Associate Professor position will have a PhD in Art History or a related discipline, an excellent research profile and extensive teaching experience at tertiary level. The appointee will also be expected to contribute to academic leadership in the Art History Program.
The successful applicant will be expected to develop new areas of teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level and enhance the potential for future interdisciplinary teaching collaborations across the Faculty, the wider University and relevant external communities.
Areas of research specialisation are open and should complement and reinforce existing strengths in Art History as well as enhance the potential for future interdisciplinary collaborations with other programmes. In particular, we seek to appoint a strong scholar and teacher who will engage with the discipline, stakeholders and relevant external communities.
