Unspoken Contributions, curated by Flinders University cultural historian Dr Tets Kimura opened this weekend and will run until Sunday 28 June at Cowra Japanese Garden.
The photo exhibition “Unspoken Contributions” shines a light on the overlooked stories of Japanese migrants and diasporas who helped shape Australia’s modern nationhood between 1867–1946. Through archival photographs, visitors are invited to see these individuals not as “them”, but as part of “us” — contributors to the communities that built our shared Australian story.
