Prestigious international prints and drawings opportunity- Call for applications

 

Dear friends and colleagues,

 

Applications for the $22,000 Harold Wright and Sarah & William Holmes Scholarships are now open. Awarded jointly, the scholarships allow the recipient to carry out an intensive study of prints at the British Museum in London for a period of 3-12 months.

 

These scholarships are very prestigious, with previous recipients holding positions in museums, galleries and collections throughout the world. The placement will commence in 2019, with exact timing subject to availability at the British Museum.

 

ELIGIBILITY

The opportunity is open to graduates of Australian or New Zealand universities, or to other persons deemed by the Selection Committee to be of sufficient scholarly standard. It is expected that the successful candidate would be a person with a background involving a serious study of prints.
