AAANZ ARTS WRITING AND PUBLISHING AWARDS CLOSE FRIDAY 24 JUNE

Arts Writing and Publishing Awards (AWAPAs) are now open. The AWAPAs highlight the vitality of arts publishing in the region and acknowledges the contribution of both emerging and established scholars, curators and artists. The Awards play a pivotal role in promoting the importance of writing and publishing in disseminating knowledge and understanding of the visual arts, craft and design. They are the only prizes in the Australasia region to celebrate the publishing achievements writers make to the field. AAANZ PhD Prize for 2022 is open │ Friday 29 July

AAANZ is pleased to offer an opportunity for recently graduated PhD students to enter the AAANZ PhD Prize. The $1,000 prize is supported by Taylor and Francis. From 2022 the format of the annual PhD prize will change. This follows a review by the AAANZ Prize Committee that took into consideration feedback received from former and potential entrants, academics and former members of the judging panel. The AAANZ PhD Prize for 2022 (and subsequent years) will be judged on the merits of the final submitted thesis or exegesis and documentation.
