Artlink magazine is calling for writer’s proposals for the April 2022 issue, Art/Write.
The genre of contemporary art writing (and reading) constitutes a vast uneven meta-field of multiple agendas and formats, from scholarly informed art history to provocative criticism and short-form social media. This issue invites proposals from art writers across all disciplinary areas, backgrounds and generations. Using Artlink’s 40-year archive (1981-2021) as a stimulant, we welcome ideas that engage with critical, curatorial and historical writing, visual essays, speculative prose and experimental texts. Priority will be given to proposals that support creative producers from Australia, New Zealand and the Asia Pacific.
EOI due 25 November 2021
EOIs to include a 150 word proposal/abstract and CV with contact details.
