Creative Australia – International Travel Fund: Market Development

Applications close: Tuesday 10 November 2026, 3 pm AEDT

Creative Australia’s International Travel Fund: Market Development supports international travel costs for Australian artists, authors, illustrators, creative workers and organisations attending significant market development platforms and professional gatherings overseas.

Funding is available for activities including international arts markets, book fairs, biennials, major art institutions, contemporary art spaces and fairs, and targeted professional meetings with international partners.

The fund aims to support the development of international networks, partnerships and opportunities to promote, publish, market or export Australian creative work.

Funding available: $5,000, $10,000, $15,000 or $20,000.

Supported activity: 25 January – 31 December 2027.

The fund supports travel for market development activities rather than general research travel, touring, exhibition or presentation costs.
