The recent floods along the Victoria River in the Northern Territory on 1 March that devastated communities of Daguragu, Kalkarindji, Pigeon Hole and Palumpa with hundreds of people evacuated north to Howard Springs; to view some of the devastation click here.

Community members discuss the speed with which this inundated homes and buildings including the community’s beloved Karungkarni Art and Culture Centre, click here. Karungkarni will require a monumental clean-up.

Colleague/friend Professor Felicity Meakins of Dr Brenda L Croft has set up a fundraising page https://www.pozible.com/profile/karungkarni-art-centre. There are many wonderful items available for donors as you will see on the page.
