The RMIT University School of Art and AAANZ are delighted to confirm that in addition to the exceptional keynotes already announced for this year’s AAANZ Conference – Griselda Pollock, Ema Tavola and Genevieve Grieves – curator, Gabi Ngcobo (South Africa), will also be joining us as a keynote at the conference, fresh from curating the 10th Berlin Biennale for Contemporary Art: We Don’t Need Another Hero. AAANZ and RMIT University School of Art, hosts of the 2018 AAANZ Conference – Aesthetics, Politics and Histories: The Social Context of Art, are pleased to announced that the third keynote speaker for the conference will be Genevieve Grieves (AU), Head of the First Peoples Department at Museums Victoria.
